Broken But Beautiful Season 3 Review: Terrific Performances from Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee in a Cliched but Lovely Romantic Tale.

ALT Balaji is back with the third season of their most popular web series Broken But Beautiful and assuming you've seen the first season, you should know why it turned into a raving success in the first place. Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi's powerful chemistry and a delightful interpretation of affection and misfortune and distress gathered the show's many hails. Veer lost his wife three years prior and he hasn't been able to get over it however when he met Sameera and they pretend that they're together to make Sameera's boyfriend envious, and "ek ladka aur ek ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte" takes the show to convey a heartwarming romantic tale.

Even though season two was simply okayish which follows a similar romantic tale figure of speech of love triangle, and saying I'm not even good enough for you, at last Veer and Sameera unites eventually. The newest expansion begins the Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee as the new lovebirds and has a new story to tell. Yet, is it as great and compelling as season one? No, however, it's not terrible. The story is about Agastya Rao (Sidharth Shukla) who is a capable theater director nonetheless isn't acceptable with karma as he would not like to compromise with his art and this isn't acceptable and appears inconsiderate to other enormous producers.

Rumi Desai (Sonia Rathee) is a rich young lady who is as yet sorting out what best for her. She has experienced a ton from her past, she has a stepdad now and a step sister and she has a childhood crush Ishan (Ehan Bhatt) and she cherishes him more than anything in this world but he appears to appreciate the company of Rumi as well as of her sister and different young ladies as well. Rumi and Agastya's first gathering didn't end up being that memorable however when Agastya, at last, sees a convincing actor in Rumi for her play, now over the span of that show, love begins to bloom between them.

But, it is uncovered that Rumi's actual fixation was Ishant, not Agastya. So how things will turn up for Rumi and Agastya? Rumi will understand that angry cold-hearted Agastya has really succumbed to her? The story and screenplay are by Shazia Malik, Sharifa Roy, and Radhika Anand and the dialogues are by Radhika Anand and are very noteworthy however unoriginal. The story isn't like that you've not seen it previously, you've seen it in numerous shows, the standard, worn-out idea of two spirits that turns out poorly together and are not ideal for one another.

Both are broken inside yet at the same time, these wonderful souls find closure with each other. Regardless of an overused storyline brimming with cliched minutes, Broken But Beautiful Season 3 actually figures out how to reach your heart and has a convincing screenplay to keep you lured. The initial three to four episodes are so quick moving that there is almost no time to breathe and everything occurs between the two leads so quick thus unconvincingly that it is fairly unfulfilling yet from that point onward, the speed smoothes down and the chemistry between Agastya and Rumi at long last begins to influence and is the highlight of this season like it's predecessors.

The show doesn't meander around and stays on the track and has some beautiful dialogues that simply strike the correct chord. Regardless of nothing novel in the story, it's the actors and their dynamite performances that will make you gorge this show, one episode and another. Sidharth Shukla has made an incredible rebound and breaking his commonplace quiet boy image, he's presently the furious young fellow and he's persuading as in Devdas mode as well. Sonia Rathee in her debut role is extraordinary as Rumi. Her performance develops further and more significant as the show advances.

Be as the obnoxious Rumi or the broken Rumi, she depicts her feelings impeccably. Ehan Bhatt is additionally great as Ishan and has done what was expected to. Tanya Kalra as Farah and Manvir Singh as Rishabh has also given strong support to the story and are comical at whatever point they come to the screen. The show looks stunning and the credits go to the cinematographer Anik R Verma. The production design by Zion Design Axis is first-rate. It's way excellent, the cafés, the sumptuous lodgings, and bedrooms, every shot is a beautiful spectacle. The camera work and the production design go beautifully hand in hand.

Furthermore, the music, which has been reliably astounding in the initial two seasons, the third doesn't disappoint too. "Mere Liye" and "Tere Naal" by Akhil Sachdeva and "Kya Kiya Hain Tune" by Amaal Malik, Armaan Malik and Palak Muchhal are profound as "Yeh Kya Hua" and "Teri Hogaiyaan". The songs are utilized effectively everywhere on the shows and they are so perfect given the circumstance and characters in the show. The breathtaking and melting voice of Shreya Ghoshal is a cherry on top of the cake. The sound design and the background score are way better compared to what we normally find in ALT Balaji's shows. I was blown away by the music of the show, in short.

The only underwhelming aspect of the show is the cliched storyline and its predictability. Other than that Broken But Beautiful 3 is as yet a stunning, grief-stricken, and heart-warming show that has its heart at its right place. The show has convincing performances from the leads and supporting cast. They've given first-rate performances and that is the thing that makes this show watchable regardless of its imperfections and given it's no place near season one. You should stream it, amid all these spy and action thrillers, Broken But Beautiful 3 has come as a much-needed refresher that romance fanatics shouldn't miss. It's a stunning-looking show, similar to a global Netflix show with huge sets and all, however overall it effectively figures out how to engage and win your hearts.

Rating:- 3/5
