Wrath Of Man Review: Jason Statham is perfectly cast in this Decent Action Thriller.

Guy Stuart Ritchie who has directed Wrath of Man is known for smooth gangster movies and the Sherlock Holmes franchise and now with the collaboration with a lead actor Jason Statham with whom he has worked in Revolver (2005) has thought of one more exciting and action-packed film Wrath of Man. So when you blend any heist film in with Snatch, you will get this film. This isn't Guy Ritchie's best films like The Man From U.N.C.L.E. or then again Snatch yet it is so smooth and slick and with Statham's uncommon comic timing, Wrath of Man comes up as a decent action film.

Patrick Hill (Jason Statham) begins his new job at Fortico Security, a protected truck organization that goes about as a middlemen and pickups and drops cash or anything important. But first, he needs to pass the training course and needs to score above 70% and the training is conducted by Bullet (Holt McCallany, Bill Tench from Mindhunter) and Hill scores precisely 70% and is completely qualified to work. Bullet names him 'H' and he begins with a not very good start with one of his partners Boy Sweat Dave (Josh Hartnett) who believes that H is hiding something.

At some point, when the three, Bullet, H, and Dave were on their work and Bullet was out to drop 10 thousand grand, Bullet is abducted and the robbers demand $2 million yet the mysterious H, is clumsily quiet in the present circumstance and gets out the truck and begins to shoot all of the criminals and before long turns into a hero before the organization authorities and among the fellow employees. In any case, Bullet, Dave, and one of the officials Terry (Eddie Marsan) are dubious about who Patrick is truly?

Presently another track, a previous one, five months sooner we see Patrick Hill with his son Dougie (Eli Brown) enjoying a vacation yet Hill gets a call and he consents to assist with giving them data about a truck. He's with his son in a car however goes out to purchase Burritos, in the meantime, a similar truck is attacked by another gang led by Jackson (Josh Hartnett) yet the theft turns out badly when the drivers try to shoot them and consequently Jan (Scott Eastwood) shoots the two drivers and Dougie as well. So now, Patrick Hill will ever discover who killed his child? Is getting into Fortica Security is a part of his plan?

Wrath of Man is an official remake of the French action thriller Cash Truck directed by Nicolas Boukhrief. Furthermore, you won't find anybody better than Jason Statham to play Patrick Hill. He's is brilliant at playing the dull and inauspicious and once in a while enchanting with his straight face sarcasm. Simply see Deckard Shaw's character from The Fast and Furious franchise. This Guy Ritchie's film doesn't have the provocativeness or the quintessence that The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has or the striking chemistry of Alicia Vikander and Armie Hammer, yet how the plot has been composed must be applauded. It's written amazingly and when the diverse timeline of events, at last, unify it gives a greater picture, uncovering the secret behind H.

H is more than a hoodlum, he's a father, and surprisingly however his action image may look super cool but a dad, he is reliably captivating as Patrick Hill. Scott Eastwood is amazing as Jan. He's basically shown covetous and selfish and desirous and that is the thing that I admired about it. He's brutal to such an extent that we hate him and that is the thing needed for any villain. And, Scott Eastwood did a phenomenal job. The film here and there turns into somewhat flat and a few minutes don't contribute anything to the film, like to the track of Hill and Dana (Niamh Algar), where Hill freaks her out asking where the cash comes from?

The film is loaded with supercharged action sequences, where the characters whom we begin to like are executed in a snap, with no leniency. The nonstop shooting gives a likeness to video games, that ceaseless dah-dah-dah-dah. The cinematography by Alan Stewart is eye-catching and the film looks amazing with aerial shots and the incredibly shot action sequences particularly the opening sequence, a one-shot scene, where the camera stays in the truck and we hear the shooting of firearms outside gives the ideal measure of tension and rushes.

Wrath of Man is a very well-made action thriller and has a smartly written and handled screenplay else it might have been a plain and boring film. Jason Statham is perfectly cast as Patrick Hill and the action sequences are a treat and give a computer game-like feel. With such countless killings and blood, this film doesn't cause the crowd to lose interest and generally speaking it's a fantastic thrill ride where the tangled timelines surprisingly work and a portion of the scenes don't. It's predictable too however a decent action thriller. It should have been named "Wrath of Dad".
